Reality star Shauwn Mkhize took to Instagram to motivate her fans and share her experience in seeking success. In a voice over video, Shauwn said that people often look at the end product of success and don’t consider the hardships they went through to get there.
“It’s a beautiful Monday month of love LETS GET MOTIVATED and turn our vision into reality,” the caption reads.
“You know today I was thinking that most people always pay attention to the end product of a successful person and say ‘I can never be like them’. Did I get lucky?”

Shauwn shared that the journey to the top is not at all rosy. Contrary to what most people believe, the climb to the top has required her to bear with struggles, criticism and having her name tainted.
“With most, what they don’t see is what they had to overcome, the struggles, the criticism, the demolition of their dignity and all those things they go through,” she said.
The business woman also said she was still struggling with lacking money and sleepless nights, despite seeming successful to others.
“They don’t even think about their sleepless nights. they don’t even think know that sometimes I have an empty bank account while i have people who need to be paid at the end of the day,”
She ended the video with urging her followers to not dwell much on the final product of success but on the journey to the top.
“Let us not put our eyes on the end product. Let us try and look back and think of where they are coming from.”
