As the country still comes to terms with the sudden death of promising artist and ‘Idols SA’ season 12 runner-up Thami Shobede, the family is in the process of organizing a decent send-off for their son.
Details are starting to come in on what will happen over the next few days.
On Wednesday, a memorial service will be held at a venue to be confirmed tomorrow. It is unclear whether this will be a family and friends affair, or it will be opened to fans of the late artist.

Thami will then be buried on Saturday in Mtubatuba, northern KwaZulu-Natal.
Thami died last Thursday at Kalafong Hospital in Atteridgeville, Tshwane. This was just days after he collapsed on stage and failed to show signs of recovery. He was the breadwinner of his family, and left behind his mum and two younger siblings.
Before starting his music career, Thami was a private in the SANDF.
