Eddie Murphy Commends Nomzamo Mbatha, Says She Helped Him Realize His African Accent Was Bad

Nomzamo MbathaNomzamo Mbatha is starring on the highly praised international sequel, Coming 2 America. The star has been excited working with the greats, such as Eddie Murphy.

Murphy who plays the role of King Akeem of Zamunda in the sequel, opens up on his work experience with the South African beauty. The actor says conversing with her made him realize how poor his African accent is.

“She’s a wonderful actress. Beautiful. We had a great time working together. She made me realise how shitty my African accent is; I thought it was good but she came with a real one and I realised that mine is horrible.”

The movie is premiering in cinemas globally today, 5th of March, 2021, and there’s been reviews flying on social media. Nomzamo stars on the highly praised international sequel, Coming 2 America, and she’s excited working with the greats, such as Eddie Murphy. Nomzamo is excited she bagged the role, as he plays Miremebe.
