Valentines is coming! While many couples will be celebrating Valentines day this weekend, men who do not wish to engage will have the option of streaming the South Africa’s Men’s Conference.
A virtual conference organized by Shakes Ngema of kwaito duo Shakes No Singil will be streamed on the Move Entertainment Facebook page. Speakers will include traditional healer Dr 3 Seconds, Ukhozi FM’s ‘Dr Love’ Mshengu and 1KZN station manager Edwin Mncwango.
This will be the second Men’s Conference Annual Event organized by Shakes. He said that the event is aimed at equipping men with relevant skills.
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands during a time of comfort and convenience but where he stands in times of challenges and controversy,” Shakes commented.
The event will be an opportunity for men to discuss serious issues, which is rare even when men meet up to drink. Shakes said the event is also aimed at fighting women abuse.
“We will also teach men to fight women abuse and to love and protect children,” he said.
