Rami Chuene: Getting Divorced One of My Top Decisions
Rami Chuene has opened up about his 2013 divorce from ex-husband Tsepo Desando.
Last year, the actress noted on Twitter that getting that divorce ranked among her top 5 decisions ever. She tweeted then that her church tried to talk her out of it, eventually sidelining her to the point of her leaving.
“Getting divorced still ranks in my top 5 decisions I’ve ever made. I remember at church they sat me down from choir, my faith was questioned, got uncoupled & sidelined. I left church, still got divorced & discovered my best life. I never looked back. Here I am, winning, thriving!”

On Saturday, Rami appeared on reality show, Kwa Mam’Mkhize, where she reflected on that divorce once again.
“I was just saying to people that I felt like getting divorced was one of the best decisions I made in my life. People were talking about their own experiences, and I think that was very encouraging because when you get divorced it is such a taboo thing, like ‘ Oh my God, you are a divorcee. What are we going to do?'” she said.
