Kabelo KB Molopyane, Motsweding FM Presenter, Passes On
The SABC has confirmed the passing of Kabelo KB Molopyane, who was working at Motsweding FM as a presenter since 2002. Molopyane passed away on the morning of Sunday 17th January. SABC made the announcement through their official Twitter account, sending condolences to the family of the deceased.

SABC released a press statement celebrating KB’s dynamic career on air over the years.
“His use of Setswana for entertainment & sports commentary inspired many..SABC Board, management & staff extend heartfelt condolences to the Molopyane family & friends,” SABC’s press statement reads.
KB joined Motsweding FM in 2002 as a presenter where he hosted multiple programs including the morning and afternoon drive slots.
KB hosted other weekend major shows that include the Weekend Breakfast, Top 30, and Party-Time. To show his versatility he was also a Sports commentator for Soccer, Rugby, and Cricket.
SABC has also announced that a virtual memorial service will be held in KB’s honor on Tuesday 19th January.

KB was also a qualified teacher with a University Diploma in Education and also had a Degree in Communications with the University of North West.
