Mlambo Confirms Bosasa Security Upgrades at Mantashe’s Home

Earlier this year some allegations hit Bosasa Company, as it was accused of misusing public resources. It was said that Bosasa was involved in the unconfirmed installation of security upgrades in Gwede Mantashe’s home. A state capture investigation was therefore called upon to confirm the allegations.

Patrick Mlambo, a state capture investigator, investigated the case by visiting the premises and inspecting it.

One of the Bosasa employees, Richard Le Roux, had testified about the installation but it was not yet confirmed. After the investigation, Mlambo found that Richard was right to his words.

He confirmed that Bosasa had upgraded unnecessary security installation at Minerals Resources Minister, Gwede Mantashe’s house and the Nomvula Mokanyane house. Mlambo clearly describes the security upgrade installed at one of the Matanshes properties in Eliot, Eastern Cape.

Basically, in every corner of the property and also underneath the balcony, there is also another camera there,” Mlambo said as he confirmed Roux’s testimony.
