This opportunity will equip a deserving individuals in crucial skills in: project planning, data gathering, development of community-integrated interventions. etc.

Location: Potchefstroom
Internship: Research, Community Engagement.
Minimum requirements and specifications:
/ Honours’ degree in Health sciences, social and development studies, and other relevant fields.
/ Driver’s license.
/ Computer literate.
/ Good language skills (English; Afrikaans and Setswana)
/ Ability to use eMedia.

Responsibilities:
/ Writing research proposals, including ethics and budgeting.
/ Research, including planning, management, and coordination of programmes.
/ Data gathering – Field work, developing survey and focus group questions, coming up with interview protocols.
/ Data analysis – Preparation, coding and interpretation.
/ Dissemination of results – Compiling results and findings, submission of papers for publication and presenation of paper at a conference.
/ Implementation of interventions.
/ M&E and marketing of interventions.
Recommendations:
/ Proof of registration for Master’s degree in Health sciences, social and development studies, and other related field
/ 1 Years’ experience in project management
/ 1 Years’ exposure to research and intervention, activities, preferably in the field community engagement
