Mr SA 2021 Entries Open, See Eligibility Criteria

Are you the next Hannes van der Walt? Entries for the 2021 Mr South Africa competition are open, and this year brings some exciting new changes – from mentors to a new title. In an exciting format change, the 2020 top finalists have been brought back as mentors to share their knowledge with this year’s entrants.

The organisation welcomes both married and unmarried men to participate in the competition. The grand finale dates and judging panel will be announced with time. In a press statement the Mr. South Africa Organization said:

“With several very promising candidates including medical and aviation professionals already pre-registered for the 2021 edition, we are looking forward to expanding our positive influence across the nation and welcoming a new generation of men to the competition.”

To be eligible, entrants must meet the folowing requirements:

  • Be in possession of South African citizenship documents
  • Must be aged between 20 – 40 on 10th February 2021.
  • Have no criminal history.
  • Available and able to take part in the competition.
  • Complete the registration form and pay registration fee of R500

Hannes Van Der Walt, 39 from Kempton Park was announced the 2020 Mister South Africa title holder via the brand’s online event & social platforms. The Mister South Africa brand opted for a controlled and closed crowning due to the global pandemic and to ensure the safety of the finalists.
