Zozibini Tunzi Celebrates Miss Universe 2019 Crowniversary
South African super model and reigning Miss Universe celebrated the anniversary of her crowning on Tuesday. Taking to Twitter and Instagram, Zozibini shared videos commemorating the special day accompanied by words of gratitude.
On Instagram, she shared a video of herself and first runner up Madison Anderson as they awaited the announcement of the winner of the Miss Universe 2019 pageant and also captured their reactions when Zozibini was announced the winner.
The 27 year old model described the moment as one manifested by her ancestors and brought to life by those who created her.
“And so there it was! A moment orchestrated by the heavens. A moment manifested by my ancestors and brought to life by the union of those who created me. This! The beginning of the rest of my life. Happy 365 days Miss Universe,” she captioned the video.

On Twitter, the multi- talented super model shared a video of her parents walking into the Miss Universe venue at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia before the finale began. They were dressed in traditional South African attire.
She expressed that her parents did not that in a few hours their lives would change forever.
“On this day a year ago. My parents on their first time ever out of the country, walking into the Miss Universe venue not knowing that in a few hours our lives would change forever,” she wrote.

Mzansi took to Twitter to celebrate the anniversary. Some fans said they cried watching that moment where she made history as the first black Miss Universe.
