Veteran actor Silas Monyatsi has joined the cast of Gomora, a series on Mzansi Magic. Silas Monyatsi is known for his work on Nna Sajene Kokobela released in 2001.
The actor will take on the role of Bra Mike, a man who was previously in a relationship with Mam’ Santo. He comes to town after the passing away of his wife, which unfortunately leaves him with a medical bill that he lacks the capacity to pay.
“Can Sonto choose him over her family? He pushes her, she resists – then she commits, but can he love her when he learns she’s a gun-toting mama? They go as far as choosing to get married, with resistance from Pretty and Thathi, but on the day of the wedding, her wedding gift to him is the classic Mercedes he always wanted, except she has it hijacked for him,” the show’s publicist wrote in a statement.
Mam’ Sonto lets him move in with them when she realises he has nowhere else to go. However, this becomes a bit tricky for Mam’Sonto as she realises that she has to hide who she really is – a murderer and hijacking queen-pin.
