Yesterday, Khanyi Mbau found herself in a bit of a pickle, when Twitter started attacking her for making adjustment to her looks using a photo editing software.
Khanyi and her younger brother Lasizwe had attended the same red carpet event, and then posted the same picture on their Instagram pages.
However, the 34 year old’s version appeared quite polished compared to what his brother posted.
In her version, she had a lighter skin, narrower nose, flatter tummy and more compact boobs. The Photoshop was quite clear, but at the same time quite professionally done. Were it not for the original version of the same photo, it could have gone unnoticed.
Lasizwe has now come to the defence of his sister, saying we all have our own insecurities.
“I don’t get the hype around the picture my sister and i posted. Let’s not throw bricks at each other when we all live in glass houses. I’m sure most of us have insecurities we wish to cover forever. Cut us some slack. At the end of the day we all use filters. Qha,” he tweeted.
Talk about lil bro standing up for big siz.
