Nickelodeon is bringing back the well loved kids’ festival ‘Nickfest’ this year.
“NickFest Live” will be held for two days – July 6 and 7, at the Ticket Pro Dome in Johannesburg. Speaking to IOL.co.za, Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Viacom International Media Networks Africa Alex Okosi said, “Our Nickelodeon brand is all about family fun. Together with our partners, we are thrilled to bring South African audiences the opportunity to engage with their favourite characters.”
Apart from kids’ favourite Nickelodeon characters, the event will also feature local music acts and other special guests.
Last year’s event featured a ‘celebrity slime challenge’, where well-known figures got doused in slime to raise funds for The Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital Trust.
Nickelodeon airs on DStv channel 305.
