[tps_header]South African comedian Trevor Noah is proving once again that he has expensive taste in real estate.

The host of the ‘Daily Show’ on Comedy Central has picked up a luxury mansion in the swanky LA neighborhood of Bel Air for the price of $27.5 million (R 428 million).

According to Realtor.com, the deal closed at the end of last year.

The contemporary mansion has been on the market since 2018, with the price coming down from a high of $36 million.

The property was designed by architect Mark Rios and built in 2014. The architect had initially built it for himself inspired by Japanese aesthetics.

It spans 11,000 square feet and has both city and ocean views. The 3-storey building combines Dark timber, glass, bronze and stone.

It features six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and three powder rooms.

Despite working and living in New York, Noah continues to show his appreciation for Los Angeles properties. This is the second mansion he has bought in Bel Air in as many years.

In 2019, the Emmy winner dropped $20.5 million on a similarly grand mansion, which he letter flipped last year for $21.7 million.

His New York home is a $10 million penthouse which he bought in 2017.
