Model and media personality Maps Maponyane has finally responded to claims that he is engaged to Boity Thulo.

This week has seen a series of hashtags claiming that the two friends were an item and about to get married.

The 30 year old hunk found the whole situation funny, posting a bunch of laughing emojis on Twitter.

He later posted another tweet admitting that the reports of his engagement were news to him.

“Y’all are ridiculous. Imagine you’re minding your own business, and logging on to find out you’re engaged!?” he said.
