Zolani Mahola has decided to make a career shift after 17 years with Freshly Ground.
She has left the group to launch her solo career.
Zolani made the announcement that she is leaving the internationally recognized outfit on Thursday. Apart from doing solo music, Zolani also intends to branch out to public speaking and theatre production.

Her final performance as the lead singer of Freshlyground will be on 31st December this year at Kirstenbosch Gardens in Cape Town. After that, she will focus fully on her solo works.
