Skeem Saam actress Pebetsi Matlaila, who is pregnant, has shared that she survived a hijacking attempt on Friday and is grateful to have come out unscathed. The expectant mom took to Instagram to share that she is safe after she and her family got into a car accident while trying to get away from hijackers. Pebetsi, who plays the role of Mokgadi on the popular SABC 1 show, said the traumatic experience occurred after she had dinner with her hubby and daughter on Friday night, 26 February.
The radio personality took to Instagram again on Monday, 1 March to give her fans an update. The star said their family had arrived to show them support after the accident and the attempted hijacking.
“Feeling so grateful today! Thank God for my family (as strange as we may be together #realityshow vibes) they stopped everything to drive all the way here from their different locations JUST to come check up on us after the accident on Friday. And now we celebrate life and praise the Almighty together. #blessed GOD IS STILL GOOD!” she said.

Pebetsi also revealed that they got into a car accident while trying to escape the hijackers but they didn’t get her vehicle.
