Pearl Thusi is in Thailand learning how to fight. The actress is reportedly joining the cast of the 2nd season of Netflix’s martial arts series, Wu Assassins 2nd season which is currently shooting in Thailand.

Thusi took to Instagram to share her learning experience. In a lengthy caption, she explains that the learning process has not been easy as she often goes to bed with muscles aching and her body shaking. However, she described the experience as nothing short of a blessing.

The video shows Thusi learning how to throw punches with a man, who she describes as a trainer of world champions.
“The guy training us actually trains champions- real fighters would kill to have him as a teacher but here he is- teaching muaythai to amateurs like me- with passion and care. What a champ,” she said.
“As a kid I played with the boys- and only played physical games with the girls… loved action movies. Today I get paid to look like I can actually fight, but I actually just found new ways to play with the boys and girls who like to play like me,” Thusi wrote on IG.
