Record producer and DJ Mobi Dixon is the latest victim of South Africa’s crime.
Real name Mabi Ntuli, the artist is counting heavy loses after losing a hard drive that contained files from his upcoming album. From the tone of his Twitter post, it looks like he had not backed up the files elsewhere.
It appears thieves broke into his car window and grabbed the valuables.
“Got robbed on Samrand off ramp! Thank God nobody was hurt but unfortunately amongst other valuables my hard drive with data files of my upcoming album was stolen. I am still trying to make peace with losing most of the new album and find inspiration to work on new materia,” he tweeted.
