Loyiso Gola has taken to Twitter to celebrate his first ever sold-out show in London. The Mzansi comedian noted that it took him 5 years to achieve this fete.
“My first sold out show in London tonight. Took 5 years to get here thank you to @mickperrin for hanging in there with me. Few tickets left for the rest of this run,” he tweeted on Thursday.

Loyiso is cracking ribs at London’s Soho theatre from Wednesday through Saturday. It is a 150 capacity venue… not exactly the 20,000 Trevor Noah fills at the Madison Square Garden, but a start nonetheless.
Tickets are going for about R 214.
Among those who congratulated the comedian were TV personality Robert Marawa who wrote, “Seen ur hustle!! Not easy!! Finally!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!”
